Summary

I am an experienced 2D artist and illustrator with a focus on character art, character design and storytelling. I have a keen interest in fantasy and science fiction art and gather my inspiration from games, books and creative collaboration with peers of similar interests. I constantly strive to improve my skills and push myself out of my comfort zone.

I graduated from Central Saint Martins in London with a Master of Arts in Character Animation and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. Studying character animation has deepened my love for telling stories through characters and I learned 2D animation, storyboarding, directing, editing and acting. I am currently working on polishing my self-produced and self-directed graduation film. I have also worked on a self-directed project commissioned by The Old Operating Theatre, titled 'Survivor' with a theme of smallpox, and collaborated on an animated film 'Contortions' for English National Opera.

I hope to work as a character, concept or storyboard artist or as a 2D animator. I have a big passion for the gaming industry in particular.

Experience

  • Illustrator at Zakonia

    May 2011 - August 2013

Experienced working in an office environment while producing fast-paced illustrations to visually accompany news articles as they were being written by the journalism team of the website. Illustrations were small scale, under a strict deadline and meant to summarise the main theme of the article in an appealing format.
